The Boston Terrier Bull or otherwise referred to as the Boston Bull is a popular North American breed of dog. Its development came from the breeding of English Bulldogs, Bull Terriers, Boxers and the White Terrier. The Boston Terrier does not have the terrier instincts for being extremely territorial. However, it will challenge other dogs if it feels that its territory has been invaded.

The Boston Terrier Bull, when first bred weighed on average, forty-four pounds. Over the years, it has been bred down to a smaller size. Its weight range today is about ten to twenty-five pounds. With great care, it can be expected to live for about 13 years.

It sheds an average amount of fur, but this can be kept to a minimum by brushing. Its nails can also become rather sharp, so regular trims can prevent them from growing too long.

It can develop trouble breathing if exerted or stressed too much in heat or cold weather conditions. Skin and heart tumors are common with them and should be checked regularly for these conditions. They may also snore loudly when sleeping.
